Verification of ICCAT resolutions and recommendations

SEA EYE observers are responsible for ensuring the proper execution of ICCAT recommendations and resolutions.

These resolutions and recommendations take into account

• Tropical tunas (Thunnus obesus, Thunnus albacares, Katsuwonus pelamis)
• Swordfish (Xiphias gladius)
• Albacore (Thunnus alalunga)
• Istiophoridae (Makaira nigricans, tetrapturus albidus, Istiophorus albicans)
• Bycatch
• Space-time closure, etc.
