Sea Eye puts on board your tuna vessels, observers trained by the CRO (Center for Oceanological Research) in Abidjan and whose monitoring is done regularly by AZTI (Basque Foundation for Research) as part of the monitoring program and monitoring of fisheries as decreed by ICCAT (International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas).

With 07 years of experience in the field of tuna fishing, our company has acquired over the years experience in monitoring and surveillance of fisheries. The data collected by our teams is the subject of research with organizations (CICTA, AZTI, etc.) and many Industry Partners continue to place their trust in us.

Data is collected using tools regulated by ICCAT and various tools, including Data Collection Forms, the Observe program and some programs created for better recording of information.

Finally, our observers are prepared to enforce :

  • The spatio-temporal closure measure decided by ICCAT on the Atlantic Ocean each year
  • Compliance with the recommendations and resolutions of ICCAT
  • Monitoring of FAD (Fishing Aggregating Devices)
  • Respect of good practices for the ANABAC and OPAGAC Organizations
